DIY Tuesday: Turning tea bags into greeting cards
Do It Yourself Tuesday is here again — my favourite!
This fun project is kid friendly AND adult friendly! So if you’re like me and drink a lot of tea, try this out and be sure to send me pictures of your creations.
You’ll need:
to drink a lot of tea!
save the teabags
glue
scissors
boardpaper/construction paper/coloured paper
paintbrush

1. Cut off the white border.

2. Fold the teabags and make as many squares as you can. All sizes are good.

3. Fold the squares as you like — into small triangles or kites — whatever you choose!

4. Place your teabag-triangles/kites on your paperboard and move until you find the flower you like! (you’ll see there are many possibilities!). Glue the center piece.

5. Add the other petals and find a bag for the stem.

6. Ta-da!

Wow that is a great idea, keep up the good work. I will definitely give this a try, the design and ideas are endless. I don’t think these would make it one piece to Australia though. My friends are traveling out there and it is their birthday coming up soon, (they are twins). I am going to send them free birthday greeting cards instead this time. That way I know it will def get to them, and they can check the next time they go into an internet cafe. Keep me up to date with you ideas, they are wonderful. Hugs.
