Awesome solar powered Bluetooth headphones

q-sound 7 ag8ni 69-537x314Remember my gripe with batteries? Well this is the kind of thing that I was talking about exactly — powered Bluetooth headphones!

Now, I realize that I’d have a really hard time harnessing the power of the sun… in my living room… to help me spend some time playing Mario Kart, but I could definitely see the benefits of having powered Bluetooth right away!

For one thing, they’re wireless! You’d have no cords to untangle, and for someone like me that lives out of a laptop bag most days, that’s definitely a bonus. Another bonus? You’d have to outside!

See? All kinds of benefits. Plus, hey, no useless, heavy, -populating, that’s-so-1748 batteries. I can definitely get behind that.

Alright, so when can I get some?

This was one of my favourite cartoons growing up (actually, to be fair, I think I was ‘too old’ for kids cartoons by the time it came out). I remember this episode well, but I don’t remember Mr. Compost being so absolutely terrifying!

Anyway, I found this cartoon tidbit while researching recycling for an upcoming post. It’s a great message — albeit cute and cartoony — and a pretty catchy tune, I’ll admit. Try not to get it stuck in your head! *mu-haha!*

The Blue Man Group on Global Warming

The Blue Man Group has always caught my attention. Their music is just super — very original. And you have to admit, their visuals are stunning.

Recently my partner saw them in Las Vegas and brought back a dvd with specially made surround sound audio. I’ve become a bit obsessed with finding more of their videos online and today I found this one. It ties in very well with the site, so I thought I’d share it with you.

Very well done, I must say. Message received loud and clear.
