Aaah! Inflatable plastic bag monsters!

Okay, now that I’ve got your attention, I promise not to disappoint. Unless, of course, you were hoping for real monsters. Sorry about that.

This, of course, is an art . The artist? Joshua Allen Harris. He’s done something incredibly inventive with the air generated by city subway vent exhaust — you guessed it — plastic bag monsters!

Video: New York’s new ‘Green’ nightclub

I’m not really a big “goin’ clubbing” kinda gal, but this is one club I am definitely curious to see!

This is City’s new called Greenhouse.

“People who view the night club industry as typically vain and hedonistic and self-interested — we wanted them to see that such an industry can take on a moral like sustainability.”

The two-level club, which is roughly 6,000 square feet, features high-efficiency heating, ventilation and air conditioning, and an LED lighting system that uses just a little more than 3 percent of the energy of a standard lighting installation. All of the materials used to furnish the venue — from the synthetic couches to the coasters on the tables — are recycled or recyclable.

The bathrooms feature waterless urinals and low-flow sinks.

Have you been? Tell me all about it!
